The Maritime Safety Authority of Fiji (MSAF) wishes to advise all shipowners, ship operators, Masters and Maritime stakeholders of the servicing facility currently approved by the Authority to undertake the servicing of inflatable liferafts in Fiji.
This Marine Notice is issued to ensure that inflatable liferafts carried on vessels are serviced by an MSAF-approved servicing station and within the approved scope of the facility.
- Approved Liferaft Servicing Station
Facility: Liferaft Sales and Service Centre (Fiji) Pte Limited.
Location: Corner of Renown Street and Rodwell Road, Suva.
MSAF Statement of Compliance: LRSC 01/2026.
The facility has been assessed and approved by MSAF in accordance with regulation 10.4 Paragraph 10 of the Maritime (Fiji Maritime Code) Regulations 2014.

The specific Liferaft types and models covered by the facility approval are provided in Appendix A to this Marine Notice.
Advice to Shipowners and Operators
•Ensure liferaft are serviced at the required intervals.
•Ensure servicing is undertaken by an MSAF-approved servicing station.
•Confirm that the servicing station is authorised to service the particular make, type and model of liferaft presented.
•Retain servicing documentation and make it available during MSAF surveys and inspections.
•Do not accept servicing or certification of liferaft that fall outside the approved scope of the servicing station.
Where a liferaft make or model is not listed in Appendix A, shipowners and operators are advised to contact MSAF before making servicing arrangements. MSAF will advise the maritime industry through appropriate notices should additional servicing stations or liferaft brands be approved.
